Leading the way: Justicia webcasts now available

Panellists at Justicia 2014More than 500 people participated in the May 28th Justicia Symposium and now, you can view free webcasts of the event and earn up to 3.75 Professionalism Hours of CPD.

Accompanying Justicia resources are also available online.

The seven symposium workshops focus on leadership and mentorship skills, flexible work arrangements, leaves, advancing to partnership, and more.

Also included for viewing is a ‘train the trainer’ session which provides an introduction to the Justicia resources and discusses how firms can use them.

The resources include 13 templates, guides and toolkits, as well as four templates for law firms to deliver continuing professional development (CPD) programs.

The first of its kind in Canada, the Justicia Project was launched in 2008 in partnership with law firms throughout the province to identify and develop best practices that retain and advance women lawyers in private practice.
