Peter Rosenthal honoured with Law Society Medal
The Law Society recognized lawyer and professor Peter Rosenthal with its Law Society Medal at the 2016 Law Society Awards later this month.
Called to the Bar in 1992, Peter Rosenthal has devoted his legal career striving to increase social justice.
He has represented homeless people, members of First Nations, dozens of political activists, small political parties, families of victims of police killings and many others.

Each year, the Law Society Medal is awarded to Ontario lawyers for outstanding service within the profession, whether in the area of practice, in the academic sphere, or in some other professional capacity where the service is in accordance with the highest ideals of the legal profession.
The Law Society honoured 14 members of the legal professions at the May 25th event in Toronto.
