Ryerson University’s proposed law school program application endorsed

Ryerson University Law School ProgramConvocation endorsed the Federation of Law Societies of Canada’s recommendation that Ryerson University’s proposed common law degree program fulfills the National Requirement.

As a result, individuals who hold a Ryerson common law degree would be permitted to apply for admission to the Law Society of Ontario, provided that the law degree program fulfills the conditions outlined in the report.

The proposed law school program would also require the support of the Ontario Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development.
